Established in 2009, the Center for Japanese Studies specializes in the studies of Japanese literature, Japanese language and thought, Japan’s corporate culture, the translation and dissemination of Chinese and Japanese literary classics, etc. By conducting fruitful research, it seeks to further Japanese studies, promote the cultural exchanges between China and Japan, and contribute to China’s socialist cultural development. Domestic and foreign experts and scholars are invited for talks and lectures; seminars and symposiums are organized in collaboration with institutes at home and abroad, which creates a platform for wider academic exchanges.
