The program was launched in 1999. Intermediate students were accepted from 2011. Since 2019, exploring new practices in undergraduate admissions, the program has started recruiting beginning students. Drawing on SUFE’s specialty in commerce, the program features interdisciplinarity of “Japanese and Finance/Economics/Commerce.” It endeavors to help students sharpen their Japanese language skills, develop their global vision and national spirit, and grow into cultured business professionals who are capable of cross-cultural communication, collaboration and innovation.
